Who we are

MathsReady is operated by Josh Roberts, a sole-trader online GCSE, A-Level and Physics tutor based in the UK. For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact tutor@mathsready.org.

What information we collect

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the name, email address and any message you provide. If you contact us by WhatsApp or email directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share there. We also use Google Analytics, which collects standard website usage data (such as pages visited and general location/device information) to help us understand how the site is used.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange and deliver tutoring sessions. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Google Analytics data is used only to understand and improve the website.

Who we share it with

Contact form messages are sent using Mailgun, our email delivery provider, purely to get your enquiry to us and to send you an automatic confirmation. Website security and spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. Website usage statistics are processed by Google Analytics. None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and tutoring-related correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide tutoring services, and meet basic accounting or legal obligations, after which it is deleted.

Children's information

Our tutoring services are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students, some of whom may be under 18. Enquiries are normally submitted by a parent or guardian on the student's behalf. We only collect the minimum information needed to arrange tutoring.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request it be corrected or deleted, and object to how it's used. To exercise any of these rights, email tutor@mathsready.org. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new service on the website. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
